What would make this camera truly formidable would be an addition of manual exposure and focusing in video mode along with intermediate 1.5x magnification and a bit rate increase to at least 20. Many pros like me gather audio separately but an external mic input on future models would be great.

I love this camera.
My question is...I am unable to change (add or subtract) the information in the viewfinder(s) or the LCD. Do I not understand the manual, has the firmware changed the original instructions or do I have a malfunction? Running 1.2. Firmware. Thanks

I find the dynamic range in this camera far better than any DSLR I owned and even better than ones selling at the same price. Optics is great as well.
I wish you could add advanced features in video recording, control over video bitrate, manual focus adjustment while recording, audio level controls and video resolution control.

I am 85 years old, and have had a lot of cameras,all the best ones with the exception of the Leica.
Early this year I decided to downsize, as my backpack, complete weighed 20Kg and the cost was a nightmare. I spent a lot of time reading reviews ect and finally decided on the Fuji x100', all I can say is I just wished it had been available years, I really, Really love it, it's just great

Love the camera, but be careful, I lost the front lens ring. They do fall off and can;t be bought as a spare.

Excellent small camera, quality of pictures outstanding expecially under difficult low light...you can bring it everywhere and flash and panorama picture do give amazing results.
An excellent back up camera also to a pro Reflex full frame expecially for travel and wedding photography....

I love this camera!! With the new firmwares is getting even beater.
What is still missing thaw is an intervalometer which I thing will boost this camera to the top.
I will be really happy if I see a new firmware with this function in. I'm looking forward to it.
