I decided to get this X-100 for second cam and snap usage, and Fuji didn't fail me, the ISO, photo quality and the Fuji color is just brilliant. :)
Apart from the pros, the cons is the focusing and the overall speed, hope the next firmware can improve in the coming updates. Also it would be great if you can bring in 1:1 & more awesome film colors in the next update.
Last but not least, love this X-100.
I have loved using this camera since I bought it! Moreso I love the fact that there have been actual useful firmware updates, well done fuji!
A suggestion for a possible function update: I'd love to be able to select different aspect ratios by one of the function buttons. Not just standard and 16:9, but how about a 1:1
I had this function on my old other branded camera and loved it...C'mon fuji!
I really like the X100. From the moment you open the presentation box you know some thought has gone into this. Firstly, it's a lovely camera to use, not without it's problems, but lovely. Secondly, regarding the problems (like AF and customisable buttons), Fuji seems to really listen to their customers and regularly release firmware updates that improve both performance and functionality. Not many companies do that.
Hiya, it would be really great if the Fuji X100 could have a firmware update to include a choice of 1:1 aspect ratio!

I would like to buy a UV filter for the lens. I own an x100. Does such a lens filter exist. Another reason for the filter is to protect the lens. Thanks
Great image quality. Outstanding style and retro feel. Desperately wanting more firmware updates to respond users' need. Focusing mechanism needs more refinements for the entire X-series rangefinders. Avid users like me found ways to get around the cons, but we all believe firmware updates will take care of the shortlist.
Hi there, i just got it today. Great piece of equipment. Not much difference in quality compared to Leica. Big difference if we consider the pricing.

It is love at first sight. The looks and features are impressive. My comments after I can get my hands on it. But, I think Fuji has done a great job! Kudos to Fuji!
