Tell us about your experience of using the X100’s Hybrid Viewfinder? How does the hybrid viewfinder add to your picture creation?

The advantages of the Hybrid Viewfinder are that the EVF provides prompt support when the OVF can’t show the information needed (including picture size). The OVF may take a shot more promptly than the EVE but the preview function on the EVF helps preview the picture I’m taking.

What’s the biggest advantage or feature of X100’s prime Fujinon 23mm F2 lens?

F2 is the focus and aperture of classic prime cameras in the age of films. It has the benefit of a wide-angle lens and enables the photographer to achieve a superb bokeh effect. It is suitable for portrait shots and for landscape shots too.

The X100’s APS-C CMOS image sensor is designed for the perfect image quality. I’m wondering whether the X100’s light processing, imaging and the expression of images under different ISO settings can meet your expectations?

Fuji X100s advantage is in ISO. The X100 provides multiple choices in dynamic range, which perform well in low light conditions and high contrast scenes.

The elegant classic design of the X100 is one of the main features of X100. What do you think of its styling?

The design is an absolute classic. It looks like a classic rangefinder camera which still holds a place in our hearts.

What are your overall comments on the X100?

The camera is small and exquisite. The imaging quality is very good. The Hybrid viewfinder EVF and OVF are the two features of X100 which can’t be ignored. Generally speaking thought, photographers choosing this kind of camera hope to experience the fun of manual focusing, therefore hopefully manual focusing will be considered in future models.

What’s the most unique feature of X100 which can’t be replaced in your opinion?

The reason is the same as why the prime camera can’t be replaced in the age of films. What this camera brings to us is better imaging quality and imaging control. Moreover, the prime camera brings its relative smallness and exquisiteness. What the X100 brings to us is a new revolution actually.

Since starting to use the X100, which functions do you prefer and use most frequently? And why?

My favourite function is the film simulation modes. The effects of films are great. I often use the panoramic viewing function for scenic shots.

How can X100’s 360˚ moving panoramic view help your creativity?

It adds more fun photography. A 35mm lens doesn’t suit scenic shots, however this panoramic function strengthens the X100’s appeal.
